The very beginnings of the Patriots program are in the Blue Guard. These young ladies are 4th to 6th grade students from several school districts. This is purely a training program to prepare the children to move up to other guards in the organization. This year, the guard interprets “Rainbow Connection”, as sung by Sarah McLaughlin.

The guard staff consists of Serenity Houlihan, Director, and Christine Hammerl, instructor, assisted by interns Emily Cramer and Kelsey Soeffing. The guard is sponsored by the Patriots Drum Corps.
